Rhode Island DUI Lawyer
What is “BAC?”
BAC is an acronym which stands for Blood Alcohol Concentration. It is a measure of how much alcohol is in a person’s blood by percentage. The legal limit for BAC is .08; anything higher than that is illegal. Tests to determine BAC include a breath test (“Breathalyzer”), blood test, or urine test. Although all three tests provide evidence which may be presented during a DUI trial, none are 100% foolproof.
